A Note From Our Chair...

Hello Pinellas Democrats!

As we reflect on Women's History Month, we are fortunate to have so many amazing women running for and serving in elected office.  We look forward to City Councilwoman Lisa Wheeler Bowman speaking to us on March 25th.  Speaking of amazing woman, we are proud to feature Raemona Clark as our member of the month!  Please click on the link below to read about Ramona and her very politically active endeavors.

Please bring any nonperishable food items to the meeting.  This month we are donating to the High Point Neighborhood Family Center in Clearwater.

In the spirit of sustainability and being good stewards to our beautiful planet, we are moving away from printing agendas to presenting them on screen at our meeting.  This month’s agenda is attached if you would like to print it or refer to it during the meeting.

As always, we want to hear from you.  If you have any ideas for speakers, if you can recommend a person for member of the month, if you want to offer suggestions or feedback on training, etc…  Please email chair@pinellasdemocrats.com

In It to Win It With You!

From Our Finance Chair...

Lots of resources are needed for a successful Pinellas Democratic Party. Besides people - volunteers and candidates - we need adequate financial support. I believe we share a vision of a winning 2020 election. I hope we will do our part in making that possible.

One critical element is a process that makes for predictable revenue, allowing the PDC to plan and execute winning activities for campaigns this year and next. It's simple but vitally important we all participate.

We initially called this campaign In It To Win It! Seems it's become a mantra for our party.

The goal is to have at least 200 individuals sign up for a monthly donation of $20 (whatever works for you) via our In It To Win It donation page on ActBlue. Here's the link (or you can click the BIG BLUE donate button below): https://secure.actblue.com/donate/init

Donor benefits (besides the satisfaction of substantive, sustainable help for the PDC) are:

  • New In It To Win It pin
  • Discounts at fundraising events
  • Name listed on PDC website home page (you can opt out & cancel pledges at any time)
Last but not least! Save-the-Date! We will have our first Fun-Fundraiser, June 2nd! The PDC Beach Party at Alden Suites Beachfront Resort! 12-6pm.

All my best,
Larry Biddle
