Our First Email Newsletter

We are happy to be sending out our first email newsletter. Our hope is that we can send out more updates in a more timely manner than we could with our hard copy newsletters. Below are just a few highlights of what's been happening in the first few months of 2019.

The Mabuhay Connection
The items in our Mabuhay Boxes do more than meet a need. As you can see from the picture, they also touch the hearts of those receiving them. For all who give clothing and other items, or those who financially give to help us send boxes, know that you are making a difference and bringing joy to many in need.

Mexico
Our Director over Mexico, Pastor Daniel Perez came to visit us at our March Timothy II meeting. It was great to hear all that he has been doing. Last year, he took seven trips to the rural mountain areas where he is training Pastors and Leaders. This is no small feat as the trip is usually taken by bus and takes several hours and a lot of walking is necessary. Pastor Daniel also has his own church and other ministry, so this is a labor of love to many who would never receive training for Christian ministry.

Northern Mexico Update

Pastor Herminio Castillo writes: Many things have happened these past few months in Sinaloa. There were two new Churches and a Rehabilitation Center for drug addicts opened. I am preparing material to share with a new group of leaders based on the teachings of Christian Leadership written by Timothy II. We also had new Bible College graduates and one of our graduates was from Spain.

Pastor Herminio and his wife also spent time speaking at churches in Sierra Madre for four days.

Spain & Middle East Update

Our Timothy II Director in Spain wrote: "Last week I was in Barcelona where thousands of Muslims from the Middle East and Morocco are living. I am connected with many Christian friends from Pakistan and the Middle East and some friends invited me to speak to different groups and Churches.

A son of an Imam from Palestine, an 18 year old boy who was blind from birth, was healed when the Lord open his eyes. Now, the Imam doesn't want to continue to lead Mosques. Please pray that the Lord will provide him a home to live in as the Mosques members have asked him to leave the home they gave him. The Imam boldly says that he will follow the Lord. Please pray with me for financial assistance for this new family and that they see more love from the Church of Jesus Christ."

Myanmar

Our Timothy II Director for Thailand and Myanmar, Pastor Win, just finished up their New Level Summer Bible Camp in Maesot, Thailand. They had four days of Bible teaching, from April 13 - 16th and 250 young people attended. He is now in another area getting ready to teach. We will have pictures and more information about Pastor Win's work in the next newsletter.

India
Rev. David, our Timothy II Director in India, has also been very busy. He just held a gathering for Christian Leaders, they had a special event for the children in their Orphanage, his son Pastor Paul, traveled to some of their new churches and held baptism services, and fourteen students graduated from their Bible College.

Timothy II Philippine Trip

Rev. David Betts will be leading a trip to the Philippines at the end of this year. We will have more information in the coming months.

Our Timothy II Director in Uganda shares with us about the Timothy II work and their church in Kampala.
