Zentangle Method for Mindfulness

Discover the meditative art form known as the Zentangle Method. Explore, create and play with pen and ink as you rekindle your creativity, develop greater hand-eye coordination, improve your capacity to perceive with an artist's eye and quiet your mind.
Woven Tapestry Wall Hanging

Now is your chance to create your personalized wall hanging! Begin by building a custom-size frame loom, which you get to keep! Explore designing with thick and thin yarns as you learn basic tapestry techniques to handcraft a unique piece of art ready to hang on your wall. Please bring scissors, hammer, ruler, sketch pad and writing utensils to class. All other materials are included.
Belly Dance for Every Body

Feel muscles you never knew you had and find the peace and confidence with your body that you always wanted. This low-impact exercise can boost your immune system, increase blood flow, improve skin tone, and give your whole body a more youthful appearance.
 
Sushi Roll

Learn to create great authentic sushi for your next eating event. Three kinds of sushi are featured: Japanese traditional, California style, and hand-rolled (Temaki-zushi). Chef Misaeng, a native of Japan, guides this hands-on class including tips on ingredient selection, preparation, and serving ideas. Leave with new skills, samples you prepared in class and your own sushi mat to make sushi at home. Bring containers to take home any creations you do not sample in class.
