Tax Workshop for Businesses
Wednesday, April 10, 8:30 – 10 a.m.
Let experienced city tax auditors answer your business’ city tax questions at an upcoming workshop, which will be at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 S. Allison Parkway. It will cover both sales and use tax. Register at Lakewood.org/TaxSeminar.

Lodge Licensing Approved
A new licensing requirement will help ensure that guests and visitors to hotels and motels in the city will experience as safe an environment as possible. The City Council approved the new licensing program recently to address an inordinate number of calls for service concerning crime and disorder at lodging facilities throughout the city. Jefferson County Business Resource Center Business Advising
Business owners and residents in Jefferson County who are debating starting a business or are already operating their businesses are eligible for free counseling sessions with the BRC resources. Topics of discussion could include business plan resources, industry background, demographics, expansion, marketing and more. Visit the BRC website to learn more and to sign up.
