Dear wolf advocate:

We knew this was coming. The clock is now ticking to comment on the Department of Interior’s proposal to remove Endangered Species Act protections for all wolves in the United States. Delisting puts their fate in the hands of many states who could implement hunting and trapping seasons immediately. Clearly this will be a death sentence for many wolves.
 
Howling For Wolves stands for continued federal protections to ensure the wolf’s long-term survival.

Minnesota residents: There is a major silver lining to this dark cloud. Minnesota lawmakers have already introduced bills to stop wolf hunting in our state forever (…and that’s a mighty long time--ala Prince). We have never had this much momentum to repeal wolf hunting from Minnesota law. 

The wolf needs you to send a message to Governor Walz and to your state House and Senate member. They can be persuaded! Please go to the Howling For Wolves TAKE ACTION website to send an email to Gov. Walz and your specific legislators. We have prepared a pre-written, customizable message. We strongly encourage you to add your own personal thoughts.

Lawmakers need your push to move this bill forward to end wolf hunting in Minnesota.
