Sandiganbayan orders Pichay’s suspension over graft case
The anti-graft court Sandiganbayan has ordered the 90-day suspension of Deputy Speaker Prospero Pichay Jr over graft charges stemming from the alleged unlawful acquisition of a thrift bank by the Local Water Utilities Administration when he was LWUA chair. The Sandiganbayan 4th Division directed the House of Representatives to implement the suspension order against Pichay, and to submit a report in writing about the action taken.
