VOAF is dedicated to supporting self-identified outsider artists who face social exclusion and other visible/invisible barriers to sharing their work.

Reframing Relations is having a very successful year, showing a continued growth in its programming. One significant highlight was an opportunity to present Reframing Relations at Vancity’s Global Alliance for Banking on Values Summit 2019 held at the Museum of Vancouver. Pictured here are Jo Billows and Jillian Christmas, sharing their spoken word, and engaging the audience on concepts of Reconciliation. Special thanks to the Museum of Vancouver, and Vancity for making it possible for us to share this work.

Roedde House Classical Series presents Rising Stars

This year’s Rising Stars concert features the Genesis Trio, exciting new talent from UBC. Jonathan López, clarinet, Nina Weber, viola, and Markus Masaites, piano are each formidable musicians, and their consummate collaborative playing is nothing short of miraculous. Join us in celebrating these emerging talents with a program including repertoire by Bach, Beethoven, and Bruch.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students, seniors and members.

Roundhouse Youth Theatre Action Group (RHYTAG) Project seeking youth for new production

We are looking for youth age 13-18 to help with our New Production’s set and props!

Workshops: Thursday March 21 (7 – 9pm) Free

We are excited that our new project is underway with the development of our new play! A team of diverse youth from throughout Metro Vancouver are working in collaboration with professional artists to create, produce and perform a play that promotes awareness, wellness and dialogue about issues facing youth.
