How are we already more than a quarter of the way through the year?! Welcome to our Berwick Smile Dental Care March Newsletter. This month we have, as usual, over-indulged on cake with celebrating Sheila's Birthday. We have also celebrated Alison's 50th Birthday for almost the whole month of March, because turning 50 is a big deal she tells us. Happy Birthday Alison!
This month marked the 50th Year since this beautiful women brightened the World. We celebrated on multiple occassions as she truly deserved it! Cheers to our Sergeant Major, International Jet Setting Implant Nurse, Patient Care Coordinator and Hoover manager.

Re-fill
"If all refill stations are used just once a day then we're stopping around 4 million plastic bottles at source in a year!"

We are Digital

Have we mentioned that we offer digital scanning to avoid impressions for most of our treatments? Not only is it more comfortable for patients, it is more time efficient and helps avoid temporary crowns. This month Indra gave us all a crash course on how we can begin to scan the many models we have stored in the practice. All a step forward in the "Going Digital" process!

#transformationtuesday brought us this fabulous result this month. Although this was a few years ago, this young lad is still over the moon with his new smile. He regularly gets compliments on his sparkly teeth and after a few struggles and lots of time in the dental chair, I'm sure you will agree, the final result is amazing.

Happy Birthday to the fabulous Sheila!! Sheila has only been part of the Berwick Smile family for a few months but we would be lost without her! Her kind, caring nature and bubbly personality make her a joy to be around for both staff and patients! Sheila enjoyed a lovely day and obviously we celebrated with one of our famous lunches!

What's On?
"We're open at the brewery on Saturday afternoons this summer!
From Saturday 13 April 2019, we will be open and serving keg beers at the brewery premises from noon until 5 pm. Pop in for a pint and/or bottle to take-away for everyone.
Anyone can come - no tickets needed :)"

International Women's Day
On the 8th of March we celebrated International Women's day! Here’s to all the women we know, the women we love and of course, the fabulous women of Berwick Smile Dental Care.

Eyemouth High School

On Wednesday the 20th March, The Eyemouth and District Rotary Club hosted their annual Careers Convention at Eyemouth High School with 80 Employers and College and University representatives. This is the 3rd year Berwick Smile Dental Care have been invited to talk to both parents and the young people of Eyemouth and the surrounding area about the different career opportunities within dentistry. It gets better every year. Thanks to the Eyemouth and District Rotary club, staff and pupils of Eyemouth High School and the EYHS Parent Council for a fabulous day. What a brilliant event to be able to offer the next generation of this area.
