Looking Forward to Spring

Spring is in the air--the new season officially begins Wednesday, March 20. Celebrate at the Farmers Market this Saturday! Visitors to Downtown can also enjoy the Polk County Public Schools Fine Arts Festival in Munn Park (weather permitting), as well as St. Patrick's Day festivities at Molly McHugh's Irish Pub--a 4 Lap Clover 5K, Irish food, and an evening street party. We'll still be dealing with the minor inconvenience of the railroad tracks being closed at Kentucky Ave. and Tennessee Ave. (see below for details), but we're patient, right? It's the weekend. Relax and enjoy everything Downtown has to offer.

Railroad Crossing Update

Based on the timeline given to us by CSX and the City of Lakeland Staff, we believe that the railroad crossings at Massachusetts Ave., Kentucky Ave. and Tennessee Ave. will be closed and unsafe for pedestrians--cross at your own risk.  We suggest Market customers park at the north end of the Market in the Oak St. lot, the Trinity Presbyterian Church lot, or on street parking on Tennessee Ave. and Pine St. Thank you, everyone, for your patience!

Purchase a Market T-Shirt or Totebag!

We have two new Market t-shirt colors--deep purple and heather royal blue! We have also replenished our stock of your old favorites (kiwi, military heather, and orange heather)! T-shirts are $10 plus tax. Also, don't forget about our spacious tote bag selection--a brown, insulated tote bag ($5) and a veggie-print tote (only $2).

Check out all the options at the FAB/Market Information tent this Saturday, located at the southwest corner of N. Kentucky Ave. and Pine St.!

Your SNAP Dollars, Doubled!

Did you know that if you have a SNAP Access EBT card you can use it at the Market Information/FAB tent every Saturday? Take as much money off your card as you want, receive red tokens in exchange, and spend the tokens like cash with participating vendors. Also, we will double your SNAP dollars with up to $40 worth of FAB tokens. That means that you if you spend up to $40, you will get $80 back! The green FAB tokens can be spent on Florida-grown fruits, veggies, and edible plants. So what's stopping you? Double your SNAP dollars every Saturday!
The Market Footprint
Ever wondered where, exactly, the Market ends and begins?

The Market stretches directly north from the train tracks, up North Kentucky Avenue, across Pine Street and Bay Street, all the way to Oak Street. That's over four blocks of Market fun!

Ever wondered where to park?

There is parking conveniently located at both ends of the market--on Oak Street and across the train tracks by Munn Park. There is also limited on-street parking on Tennesee Ave. and Pine St.
