At 3:00 PM, on Saturday, March 16, the Battle Creek Regional History Museum (BCRHM) will be hosting a program on the history of the"Art Moderne" style ‘Small Town Movie Theaters’ in Galesburg (Gale Theater) and Augusta (Park Theater), presented by local historian, Keith Martin, from Galesburg, Michigan.
His previous popular programs at the museum have included a talk about the interurbans around southwest Michigan in 2017, and local railroads in 2018. He is also instrumental in the operation of the Galesburg Historical Museum.

The RHM display area currently features some of Martin’s collection of Art Deco and Art Moderne items.

The program is offered at no charge for admission, but donations are appreciated. Light snacks will be served before and after the lecture.

The BCRHM is located at 307 West Jackson Street.
