In 1965 it seemed like the whole Twin Cities came together to protect our city from flooding.

My father in law was one of them. He told us all stories of how he came down with his high school class and helped fill sandbags in 1965. None of these 4 teenagers is my father in law, but soooo many people in our community have stories of helping that year. 

No doubt, people will have stories of helping this year too.
