All together in a jam

Eton and surrounding communities came together in March to cook, create and connect.

Three workshops running over three consecutive weekends saw community members sharing their recipes, meeting new friends and whipping up some delicious jams and pickles. The communities newly created cook book, Recipes for Resilience, showcased their favourite recipes and important tips and tricks to help you through a natural disaster.

Community run Jam and Pickle making workshops were a hit and signified that we are all together in a jam and help each other out in a pickle. These workshops were a great way of teaching a people of all ages how to preserve food; an often-forgotten craft. Special thank you to the North Eton CWA for all of their involvement in these community workshops.
