Funded by the U.S.-Japan Foundation, six young Japanese changemakers will travel to New York City to meet face-to-face with local American changemakers and to interface with senior Ashoka Fellows, including Sascha Haselmayer, Founder & CEO, Citymart. Join us for lunch and presentations by six Japanese youth embarking on their journey as changemakers.

Thriving After Incarceration: Life Before, During, and After Rikers

Join The Fortune Society, Gabelli School of Business, and Fordham Graduate Net Impact for a screening of clips from RIKERS: An American Jail, and a presentation of AFTER RIKERS: Justice By Design – a new short film produced by Public Square Media. These films explore incarceration in New York City and the vision for community-based jails that NYC plans to build as part of its efforts to reform the criminal justice system and significantly reduce incarceration. Panel discussion to follow.
