Finally, Kangaroos

We finally met a few kangaroos - wild ones and some that like to be hand-fed. This last week in Australia has been full of adventure as we made our way down the Great Ocean Road (full of endless coastal beauty) and then spent four days on the island of Tasmania where we experienced the peaceful town life and unique wildlife that is available to be discovered.

If you want to hear about our visit to Melbourne, check out this week's podcast episode.

The large, beautiful city has a multicultural vibe with a ton of great restaurants, strong artist attitude, and a beautiful coastline. We walked for miles around the town taking in all of the beauty of St. Kilda, eating at a Japanese restaurant on Chapel Street, and enjoying the street art within every pocket of the city. I even had the chance to grab a beer with my friend, Todd, that was visiting from the US.

Now in Brisbane, hanging out with a couple of close friends for the next 11 days, we have a bunch of fun activities on the agenda. We have heard so much about this region of Australia, so we are excited to experience it with them and share a ton of laughs and stories in the process. Speaking of laughs, did you realize we typically look at the person we are closest with when sharing a laugh in a group? Here are a few other 'mind tricks' in this cool article that might help you influence those around you.

Be sure to check out Nikki's first book - Passport Joy: Reflections on Life, Love, & Other Stuff While Traveling the World. And if you have, and enjoyed it, we would really appreciate you taking the time to leave her a review on Amazon. Like this one from Alan G: 'Lots of travel insights and tips that you don’t get from the traditional travelogues. But more than that, it does a great job exploring a lifestyle and choices that I never would have guessed possible.' Thank you, Alan!

World Barber Shop Adventures - Kolkata, India is now live. Street-side barber shop. One of my most memorable experiences for me in the barber chair. You've got to see what is happening to the guy next to me with his shirt wide open.

By the time you read this, I will likely have a local Aussie pint in front me so 'Cheers, Mate.'

Matt
