Thanks to everyone who took part in St Michael & All Angels’ Week of Accompanied Prayer. This Lent, our focus is on deepening our prayer life as individuals and as a church community, instead of our usual Lent programme of study groups and excursions.
            - Each week in Lent, we invite you to come to church for half an hour silent contemplation before the Blessed Sacrament (from March 18th): on Monday evening 7.30pm to 8pm; or Tuesday afternoon 3.30pm to 4pm.

            - Lent lunches on Sunday March 24th and April 7th in aid of our Lent Charity Appeal.
            - Our Lent Appeal is in aid of Christian Aid's Community Partnership Programme in Ghana, where almost half of young people are unemployed. St Michael’s has already raised £3,000 - there’s £2,000 to go!  With 3:1 EU matched funding, this will make £20,000 for projects to create training and paid work for young people, particularly women and people with disabilities. All donations will be much appreciated in the Green Lent Jar at the back of the church.
