If someone, or a team of people, are interested in filling this role, or if you want more information, please contact Natasha, or speak with one of the Wardens. The St. Martin's community is so grateful to Leon for his many years serving the parish in this ministry.

Lex orendi, lex credendi
This phrase captures a deep truth that our worship shapes how and what we believe.  As Anglicans, the forms of worship given to us in the Book of Common Prayer are central to our lives as people of faith.  How we pray together, the language used, the liturgical acts provided all teach us our “God talk”, our theology—not only how we talk about God, but how we talk with God in a fully embodied sense.  The disciplines of prayer and worship form us over time, shaping our hearts and minds by their deep and abiding wisdom.
This Lent, you are invited to “try on” the Anglican tradition of Morning and/or Evening Prayer.  The commitment level can be every day, 3 times a week, Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer, both—whatever works for you.  A booklet has been prepared with the full services laid out including the list of appointed readings (have a Bible handy) and the canticles.  Like any discipline, it takes time and some days it will be uplifting and some days not, but each time the soul is being formed.
