Year 4 and 5 children at Stapleford Abbotts Primary Academy put on their reasoning hats to take on the roles of detectives when a crime scene was found in the pavilion.
Henry said: "We found a blood covered table, Miss Wreford's lanyard, Mrs Fuhr’s cup and Miss Simpson's pencil case. At the time I was a bit confused as we had no idea what had happened!"
Throughout the week the children have been finding clues and interviewing suspects to try and get to the bottom of the case.
Numerous teachers were suspects until an unlikely piece of evidence pointed towards the 'murderer' being Mr Flourish!
However this turned out to not be the case.
Ronnie said: "We were given a tip from Year 5/6 to check the security cameras. When we examined them we saw what looked to be Mr Skidmore leaving through the pavilion window.
"I felt rather betrayed as Mr Skidmore has lead us to believe he wasn’t the 'murderer' and instead it was another teacher.
Summer-Rose said: "When I found out who was the murderer, I was in shock as it was our teacher! This made me feel rather nervous. Luckily it turned out to be Mr Skidmore’s evil twin brother and fortunately he has gone to jail forever."
Class teacher Joseph Skidmore said: "We would like to thank the children of the Invincible Einstein’s for their quick-thinking and deducing skills."
