Gather at the Yoder Farm (park at the barn), then walk back to the sugar bush.
Participants can see the wood fired evaporator in operation along with demonstrations about the history and processes associated with maple sugaring. The session will include a discussion of late 19th and early 20th Century sugaring on family farms along the Cedar Creek and conclude with a tasting session that features pancakes prepared in the woods over wood fired grills.
