SESSIONS ANNOUNCED FOR INN DAYS 2019
Mark your calendars now to attend INN Days 2019 on June 12 and 13 at The Four Seasons Houston. INN Days (INN's biggest event of the year) will be held at its own hotel for the first time, just two blocks from the IRE hotel and $50 less than the IRE hotel room rate. Book your hotel room now by visiting the "hotel" tab on the INN Days page — accommodations typically fill up quickly. Travel stipends are also available for INN members in good standing. Apply here.
INN Days 2019 will include two full days of training and networking opportunities, including NewsMatch Day sponsored by Knight Foundation, INN's 10th Anniversary reception, and sessions from Steve Katz (Mother Jones), WBUR's BizLab, Diane Remin (MajorDonors.com), and more. Registration will be announced shortly.
INN TRAINING SERIES: MASTERFUL MANAGEMENT
INN's online training series geared toward helping nonprofit news executives overcome management struggles will continue April 2 and April 16 with sessions about managing for motivation and mentoring. The series is led by Madhu Maron, the founder of MadhuCoach, a coaching and consulting practice dedicated to supporting individuals and organizational leaders on the path to transformation. Prior to becoming a coach, Maron spent 17 years as a human resources professional, working with The Associated Press, Standard & Poor’s, Henry Ford Health System (Detroit), the New York City Economic Development Corporation and other organizations. Register for the series or individual modules.
