Location: Old Winery Restaurant

All information for the meeting will be sent out the week before the meeting and will include the Agenda, Financial Statements, Past Minutes, and proposed Bylaw revisions. Please plan to attend.

We will also have an update by John Hawley on the progress of The Village Business Centre development.

Have you made your dinner reservation?

We suggest about 5:30 – in time to join the meeting downstairs at 7. (And don’t forget to mention you are a VCA Member for your discount.)

Volunteers still needed

We have several positions on the Executive Committee open this year. President, Vice-President and Treasurer. Three significant roles that we need to fill. Time to get involved. Get to know your community.
As you know the role of the VCA is three-fold:

Advocacy with the town to improve life in The Village (parking, traffic, etc.)
Social Events planned such as the Christmas party, Garage Sale and the coming golf tournament
Enhancing The Village appearance with gardens in the summer and the Christmas lights in winter

And of course – keeping you informed with regular newsletters and website updates.

Membership Drive

In addition to Executive roles we could use a couple more volunteers as Area Captains to help Randy Churchill with our Membership drive. It will be time to renew your membership the end of April. If you can assist Randy please contact him.

Membership is $30 per year per household and will be up for renewal in April.

And speaking of spring (optimistically…)

The gardeners can’t wait. Mori Gardens – Where VCA members get a discount, will be opening up soon and are offering their gardening seminars. Check out the list and start dreaming of flowering gardens. Seminars are starting now.

Didn’t you know we get a discount at Mori? That alone is worth the price of membership each year!
