Southern Conference Commissioner John Iamarino, who has led the league for the last 13 years, announces he'll retire at the end of June. Iamarino: "There are family obligations that will increasingly demand more of my attention. I think the conference is well positioned to address the many long-range decisions it will face in the coming years. It’s been a privilege to serve the SoCon, but I feel this is the right time for me to step aside." (link)
