Welcome to another Tech Tips digest,  in this edition we focus on a few simple ways to get you out of trouble when one or a few of your keypads suddenly stops working as they should.
 
Like with any electronics, a small surge or sag in power can cause your Sentinel network to do strange things,  maybe a display on a keypad doesn't show the correct information,  or the keypad appears to be not turned on at all. 

More often than not, everything is fine and the system just needs a small reboot.  Here's how ...

 
Restarting Sentinel from you Platinum software

We liken this to the oldest IT trick in the book,  when your computer stops working the way that it should all of a sudden what is the first thing your IT team asks you to do ... restart windows !

No that's not what you have to do in this case, however Sentinel does have an option to do something similar ....
