Women’s Walk/Jog/Run Group—Ages 18+
When- Wednesday
Where- 9:15 am -9:30 am/ Meet in the lobby of the Admin. & Ed. Bldg.
Time- 9:30 am/ We head out to the parking lot to walk/jog/run
A group of women who are looking for a way to exercise and fellowship with one another at the same time; all stages of exercise- anything from walking, jogging, to running!

God, Sex & Your Marriage
We all know it, but we don’t always say it out loud. Sex is important in marriage. But do you know why? During this event, learn why God cares about sexual intimacy and how couples can work together to overcome common obstacles. This event will have a good mix of laughter and Biblical teaching around sexuality and marriage. Dr. Juli Slattery of Authentic Intimacy, and Jonathan Daugherty of Be Broken Ministries, will share why sexuality is important to marriage and will give practical help to overcome roadblocks and build true intimacy in marriage. God, Sex and Your Marriage is designed for all adults. This conference will help you to understand the WHY behind sex in marriage and equip you for authentic intimacy. DivorceCare
Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Groups meet Tuesdays at 6:30pm. Newcomers are always welcome. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Walk with others who have “been there.” Register here.
Mental Health - There Is Help
Do you or someone you love live with symptoms of a mental health disorder? Did you know that support groups are available to you right here at CBC? There are three different types of groups on Tuesday evenings to offer support and encouragement in a faith environment: Living Grace for those with a mental health challenge, Family Grace for their loved ones and Living Hope for those with struggling with issues related to trauma. Brazil Mission Trip
June 9-18, 2019
Participate in evangelistic outreach in a local university, family communities and chemical dependency recovery centers and share the Gospel with materially and spiritually poor families and children in Santa Catarina, Brazil. To learn more, click here.
Volunteer
Counseling (Lay Care Minister)
An opportunity to meet weekly with adults who are experiencing struggles in life and to offer Biblical guidance in a confidential and safe environment. Ongoing Biblical training and supervision is provided. Opportunities are available weekdays and evenings 3-4 hrs a week. (Spanish speakers are needed). This opportunity is for “Wise Counsel” graduates who are church members.
A volunteer opportunity for the individual who loves to smile, drive golf carts and welcome CBC Guests as they enter the Parking lot. Volunteer opportunities are available after the 11:45am and 1:21pm weekend services.
We are looking for those that want to use their love of technology for the glory of God. If you love serving behind-the-scenes, this is a great opportunity to connect your love for technology and Jesus by running a camera or assisting with lyrics. Training will be provided.
