Rosie completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the Australian National University in October 2018 and was admitted to practice as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in December 2018.
In June 2018, Rosie graduated from the Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Laws. Rosie completed an internship and her graduate year at Hammond Legal assisting on an extensive range of legal areas including criminal law, employment law, wills and estate planning, contract law, corporate law, local government, personal injury and property law. Prior to this in 2015, Rosie completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the Curtin University with a double major in Accounting and Business Law.
Rosie is passionate about commercial law, and has experience in advising individuals and companies in relation to contractual claims, negligence and consumer law matters. She also has experience in wills and estate planning, employment law, commercial drafting and property law and has assisted and managed matters in most Courts in Western Australia including the Supreme Court, Magistrates Court, Coroners Court, District Court, State Administrative Tribunal and Family Court.
As a newcomer to Geraldton, Rosie has expressed interest in joining the Geraldton Golf Club and the Geraldton Yacht Club. Whilst she has been getting settled in to Geraldton, Rosie has enjoyed exploring the natural landscapes of the Mid West such as the beaches and the national parks.
She also enjoys creative and hands-on artistic or refurbishment projects. Growing up, Rosie was involved in numerous sports including Little Athletics, Basketball, Soccer, Football, Badminton and Gymnastics.
Rosie is heavily involved in Freedom of Choice at the End of Life and is a strong advocate for Dying with Dignity.
