We set the meeting up after carefully lighting an all glass conference room. We're working with real employees on location at the new Salesforce tower in San Francisco. In this case the conference room location shows the city behind it. (The new Salesforce tower is gorgeous.) We lit the room through the glass from a number of different angles.

Once we have the basics down, like the location and the lighting and the people in the photos, what I find most interesting in meeting photos are the kinds of moments and expressions that might not be otherwise noticed, like what’s happening here. I love the moments in between. We create this by using directing tricks from improv and theater and then documenting the moments that happen.
