FAMILY HOLIDAYS IN MONGOLIA

Family, familia, famille, familie, 家庭, гэр бүл... however you may say it, family is the glue that keeps us together. It gives us a lifetime of cherished memories - and there is nothing like a holiday to create those memories, with Mongolia the perfect backdrop. With wide open spaces, an endless supply of activities, culture, history and wildlife, Mongolia allows you to go really "off-grid" for one of the most unique holidays you will ever have! Whether you are camel riding and dune climbing in the Gobi, exploring the temples and spending time alongside a nomadic family, learning to put up a ger, or giving your children their first experience of horse riding, fishing or kayaking on the Delger or Orkhon River, it is an unmissable opportunity to get away from the mod-cons of every life back home. At Goyo Travel, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail, flexibility, and level of service. It is because of this that we have an excellent reputation for providing personalised family holidays, with kids of any age - from tiny tots to try-hard teens to grouchy grown-ups and galavanting grannies. With British-Mongolian ownership, we have an unrivalled cross-cultural perspective of what a discerning globe-trotting family appreciates. Our Family Adventure trip provides the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation, rustic adventure and welcome comfort. You can read more about family holidays in Mongolia on this week's blog.
BEIJING EXTENSIONS

The vibrant and eclectic Chinese capital mixes ancient cultural traditions with irrepressible modernist expansion. Bursting with 10x the population of its entire neighbouring country, Beijing provides the perfect contrast to Mongolia's nomadic wilderness, making it an ideal stop-off for a few days either side of your main adventure with Goyo Travel. We have created some pic'n'mix day tours that combine classic highlights with authentic experiences that you won't find on most standard itineraries. Explore the culinary underbelly of Beijing with a local cafe breakfast, followed by a tour of a local food market and a hutong cookery lesson where you'll make your own Baozi steamed buns. Visit a calligraphy school and learn how to write your name in traditional script.....learn about Traditional Chinese Medicine at a local hospital.....explore the largest tea market at Maliandao and make your own tea bricks. Take a look at our brand new Inside Beijing tours.
TRAVELLER SPOTLIGHT

In September 2018, Goyo Travel welcomed the Johnston family from the USA to Mongolia, for a private Among Nomads tour of central Mongolia. The young family are currently travelling the world for a year, as an incredible way to educate their daughter. Their trip with Goyo Travel certainly had a lot of amazing escapades to compete with, so we were thrilled when the seasoned travellers described their tour in Mongolia with us as "a trip of a lifetime".

Lucky for us, Gary writes blogs on all of their adventures, and you can read his captivating, 3-part blog on Mongolia here, with funny tales, brilliant photos, and videos of their adventure, which they will fondly reminisce for years to come.
