Yoga Classes for Adults - 2nd session starting Wednesday 3rd April 2019 
After a successful first session which ends this week, the yoga classes (mixed male & female) will be hosted again at our hall from 3rd April 2019 every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8pm for 10 weeks. Charges payable in advance of £25 for 5 weeks then £25 for next 5 weeks - bring your own mats. Alpaben, our teacher, is a fully qualified and experienced Yoga teacher. Send in your details by email to Yoga@raghuvanshi.org.uk to register. Limited numbers so first come first serve basis.
Elderly Digital Skills classes - Start Wednesday 3rd April 2019 from 2pm to 5pm
Lohana Community South London is proud to announce that we will provide Digital Skills training courses at our Community Centre to our Elderly members and their friends, at no cost to them. To do this we have secured sponsorship for the 15 Android tablets we will use, plus a complimentary Wi-Fi subscription to facilitate the courses for 1 year. Our sincere thanks to all the donors and sponsors. The course will last for 3 weeks and each class will be for 3 hours every Wednesday. The course objective is to teach basic digital skills to the Elderly to use tablets and smartphones in order that they can access emails via the devices, use Facebook, take photos and use Google Photos to share, use Google search and internet browser facilities to access other information and websites.

The course will also teach how to download and use everyday Apps like Contacts, Calendar, To-Do lists, Deliveroo, taxi bookings, and using Google Maps for location and navigation purposes. Also how to search for other Apps and Music to download for health and entertainment purposes. The use of everyday contact Apps like SMS and WhatsApp will be shown to allow the elderly to keep in touch.
