We need two volunteers for every class to help with hospitality at the beginning of each class. Classes run every Tuesday from March 19 - May 21 (except the third week in April class is on Friday, April 19. Shifts are generally 12;30-2:00PM (except April 19 - shift is 8:30-noon).Check out the speaker schedule and pick the class you want to help with at HERE.
Come hear Jenny Atkinson discuss Orcas and their recovery in a fun and informative interactive presentation to the new Salish Sea Stewards Class on Tuesday, March 19. Jenny's talk will begin at 3:00PM and will be held at the Padilla Bay Reserve. For those of you who don't know her, Jenny is the Executive Director of the Whale Museum in Friday Harbor.
Please remember to log your volunteer hours in Volgistics - the hours we log help show our funders the amount of work that goes into a project.
As of March 14, 2019 we have logged 26,404 total hours of service THANK YOU Salish Sea Stewards!
