Time for a big clear up -
bring your stuff to plot 45

Generally, we are doing well but I have noticed an accumulation of rotting wood, bits and pieces of material, plastic containers, things that do not need to be on the allotment.
Also, there may be quite a lot of very old and unnecessary material in the green composting bins, I'm not talking about genuine composting material.
I'm taking the opportunity of having a big bonfire for those who find it difficult to go to the recycle or who have a small amount of material which might as well be burnt.
I know the weather is very variable at the moment but could you possibly put any unwanted material on plot 45 and any tins or other miscellaneous material by the community shed.
This will be the only time that this is done this year;  please take this opportunity.

BONFIRE TIME 4pm ish
This will either be the afternoon of Saturday or Sunday depending upon the weather so if you can manage a few moments to pop down to your allotment and pile any junk material up (you will see the large pile on plot 45) . Myself and a few volunteers will do the rest.

Brian Snellgrove
Chair .
We welcome to plot 45 Jacqui Cobban who is particularly delighted to have access to a plot since she has recently moved to a flat where there is no garden to speak of..She has all sorts of plans and I'm sure she will be a worthy successor to John Martin who as you all remember was a previous chairman.
