Loads of exciting impact stuff to update you on this month!
I’ve been working on this for months now, but finally I launched my Pathway to Impact Builder last week. 10 questions, 30 minutes and you’ll get an editable draft of your impact summary and pathway to impact in Word delivered to your inbox.
I’ve started a new weekly vlog – the first episode gives you a 7 min lesson on one of the most foundational tools for any pathway to impact, how to do a stakeholder analysis (as you'll see, I've also created an updated research impact guide to accompany the video).
After a longer than planned hiatus over the Christmas break, the podcast is back this month with two new episodes, and an interview with Saskia Walcott in the pipeline for next week:
- Last week I discussed three powerful ways to overcome imposter syndrome, based on solutions that have worked for me. Contrary to expectations, you don’t stop getting imposter syndrome when you’re a Professor (in fact I think it sometimes gets worse!), but there are things you can do to combat it very effectively no matter what career stage you’re at
- This week I followed a couple of representative work days to show in practical terms how I put the lessons in The Productive Researcher into practice. The two key themes of the episode are using your values to constantly prioritise and building mental health resilience into your working week. Listen to the episode now
