The March Volunteer of the Month goes to LeighAnn Walters! LeighAnn volunteers weekly in her children's classrooms and she is a room parent as well. She organizes class parties and ensures the students have everything they need to have a successful class party. She is willing to lend a helping hand and has volunteered on several occasions for PTA event. She believes it is important to be involved in the goings on of the school, and her organization and caring attitude are greatly appreciated by all! Thank you LeighAnn!

Schedule Update! We are combining the Celebration of the Arts and Cultural Night into one event. The Arts and Culture Night will be held on May 3. Look for an updated registration form for a Culture exhibit coming soon and other exciting events planned for that evening!!

There are openings on the PTA board for next year. This is a great way to make a difference in our Little Cedars Community! Anyone interested in joining the board next year, please fill out a nomination form and return to school a sealed envelope marked “PTA Nominating Committee.”

We will be voting on a new board at our April General Membership Meeting (Thursday, April 11th).

We will have fun learning about and using a variety of mediums. Mediums may include: Clay, markers, gel pens, crayons, alcohol inks, oil pastels, pens, acrylics, watercolor, mixed mediums too! We plan to explore (and get a little messy) with a different medium each session! Mrs. Taylor will plan and facilitate the art club; she is an artist, parent and Guest Teacher here at Little Cedars.

Spring Conference Meals Signups

SPRING Conferences are coming quickly! This means it's time to start coordinating meals for our wonderful teachers and staff! These donations really help the teachers and staff stay nourished during the long days of conferences - and they love the variety! Tuesday evening is Taco Bar and Wednesday evening will be Pasta night.
