Golden Laissez-Passer 2019

Apply for the Golden Laissez-Passer and win 3,000 Euros to invest in your innovative project, in a training course or in a mobility period.

Until May 15th, the online international community will vote for the best talents and 6 participants with the highest amount of votes will access the final stage of the contest. A jury of gE members will reward the best Erasmus talent of the year with the award of the Golden Laissez-Passer during at an event in June 2019 in Malaga, Spain. You will also have the opportunity to meet garagErasmus and ESAA during our European tour in 13 European towns where we will present the Golden Laissez-Passer in details. So take a look at the map of the Laissez-Passer events.

garagErasmus at the annual general assembly of the Erasmus Mundus Association in Vienna

We were delighted to accept the invitation of our partner to join their important meeting to learn more about the way EMA works, its membership and activities. We presented our foundation to EMA members and marked a new chapter in the gE-EMA cooperation.

Erasmus Vote Power : Training event on the European Elections 2019

Over fifty people from different countries flew to Brussels, Belgium on 8th of February 2019, to take part in an innovative project “Erasmus Vote Power - ​Active citizens for an active Europe” which aim to motivate the Erasmus Generation to go to vote for the European elections, which will take place between 23 and 26 May 2019. Together with the European Parliament, we were able to invite selected Erasmus Ambassadors to encourage and discuss the active involvement of young citizens living abroad during the European elections. Thanks to the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance, the event was attended also by active members of the Erasmus Students Network and the Erasmus Mundus Association.

International coalition kicks-off the "EYVOL" project

Last 20 February of 2019, an international coalition of organizations from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society met in Athens to kick off EYVOL - "Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport", a two-year project co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme and aimed at developing a common framework on “Sport Volunteerism”. GaragErasmus is proud partner of the coalition. Stay tuned, more on this coming!

garagErasmus General Assembly

We are glad to announce that our Annual Meeting will be held in Malaga (Spain) from the 6th to the 7th of June, hosted by the University of Malaga. The event is going to be the occasion to create synergies among our foundations members (Universities, Private Companies and Local Associations), present our work to our institutional stakeholders (National Agencies, European Parliament and European Commission) and create new opportunities for the future of international students, trainees and young professionals. 2018 has been a milestone for the foundation: we got four European grants approved and we are ready to implement the activities. The agenda of the meeting will be shared with the official invitation and registration link in the upcoming weeks, but the main point of discussion will be to highlights of our activities along 2018-2019 and plan the activities for the next months, selection of the best Erasmus talent of the year (Golden Laissez-Passer), the Talents Match and more.
