Cochrane Rehabilitation serves as a bridge between Cochrane and the Rehabilitation community and its stakeholders

One in 11 Cochrane reviews are on rehabilitation interventions, according to pragmatic inclusion criteria developed by Cochrane Rehabilitation

The Cochrane Rehabilitation Review Committee has just published a paper, in the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with the following aims:
  • Identify all published protocols and reviews in the Cochrane Library relevant to the scope of practice of rehabilitation.
  • Test pragmatic criteria to identify rehabilitation interventions.
  • Begin categorizing reviews according to the professionals involved in delivering the intervention and broad areas of clinical practice. Read more...

Another Cochrane Corner has been published, "Can Botulinum Toxin Help Prevent Migraine in Adults?", authored by Dr. Livia Puljak, in the March issue of the American Journal of  Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
The Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) recently has partnered with Cochrane Rehabilitation to promote the adoption of Evidence Based Physiatry in clinical practice and training programs. 
The 2019 AAP Annual Meeting held in Puerto Rico in February featured a course titled, "Synergies between AAP and Cochrane Rehabilitation: education, research, knowledge translation.” Read more...
 
Cochrane Chile is going to host the next Cochrane Colloquium in Santiago, 22-25 October 2019. It will be a great opportunity to meet and network with the Cochrane community from Chile and Latin America. Have a look at the key dates.
