Upcoming Works
  • Jetting and CCTV surveys will be undertaken on existing surface water drainage and gullies along the A40 between Pinions pedestrian crossing and Citygrove junction.  Works will be undertaken in the evenings to minimise traffic disruption starting 11th March for 4 evenings (7pm to 6am).  These works will be undertaken through the use of road narrowings and temporary traffic lights at Hatters Lane roundabout.  The Citygrove signals will be temporarily switched off and temporary traffic lights used until jetting /cctv work is completed at Citygrove and then the permanent lights will be turned back on.  Advanced warning signs have been erected on site and letters delivered to affected properties.
  • Fibre cables will be laid from Knaves Beech to Rayners Avenue and at Trinity Church and adjacent to the Rye by Siemens starting 19th March 2019 for 5 days, all work in the footway so no traffic lights required.
  • CAT 5 cables to be installed between new communications cabinets and new vehicle messaging sites.
