Have a seat by the fire with industry legend Peter Adkison and his guests as they share tales of tabletop gaming history. As the founder and former CEO of Wizards of the Coast, Gen Con Co-Owner and Chairperson of the Board, and Chaldea filmmaker, Peter has been an innovative force in the world of tabletop gaming over his decades-long career, influencing multiple genres and styles of gaming. Peter is also, deep down, a huge nerd and gaming fan who’s had a front-row seat to the incredible growth of the tabletop gaming industry.

Episodes of Fireside will explore the origin and development of industry-defining games and movements, featuring behind-the-scenes stories and insights from the people who made it happen.

It’s Magic Season
In the inaugural season of Fireside, Peter and his guests will tell the story of Magic: The Gathering, exploring the creation and early years of the trading card game enjoyed by millions of players around the world today. Peter’s co-host for the season will be Beverly Marshall Saling.
