Go to the events website and facebook site to view all prizes to be won and all relevant information and updates.

All money raised on the day shall go to the Club's General Revenue. Last year we cleared $5,000.

We can move the event to three other locations to still precede if need to for adverse weather conditions on the Saturday. They are: North Arm at Lakes Entrance. Tambo River at Johnsonville. Mitchell River Bairnsdale.  Also the main course can be reversed if there were strong headwinds on the day. Everything possible will be done for this event to be held on the North Arm on the Saturday if the event has to be moved.

The event can be rescheduled to the following day Sunday, because of adverse weather conditions. It will then start at the footbridge and complete a return paddle to the top end of the North Arm.

Sunday start time will be 8am followed by a 12 noon presentation and lucky draw.

Water safety is a priority in this event. We have Coast Guard Lakes Entrance & Paynesville with rescue crafts. Seaspray SLSC with two Jet Skis, and four of our own IRBs.

The reason for so many rescue crafts is if there were any incidents on the lakes or the ocean, either of the two Coast Guard,s rescue vessels may be called to attend. This then would leave us short of rescue crafts required by Surf Life Saving Victoria.

"The Paddle Challenge is now the largest type of such an event in Victoria!"

Your club is asking for help on the day to truly make this a successfully event and it is now our major fundraiser for the year. All workers on the day will receive a free spit roast meal at the lucky draw.
