'Stitching Delights'
"All the items in this display are things that delight me from Lighthouses, beaches and boats to seagulls, whimsical mice and feathered friends. Moreover the process of creating them in textiles and stitch also delights me, challenging my technical and creative skills" Rosi Gates.
New Work in T'Arts:
New fabric lengths in T'Arts this month by Helen Moon. These are Pure Silk, 2 x metre lengths. Helen was inspired to work with natural tones, using soy wax as a resist. She finds the wax so easily drips onto the fabric, the dots appear and are then repainted to create new tones.
The lengths can be hung on the wall or cut and sewn into garments.
