Yakima Valley Restaurant Week
Yakima Valley Restaurant Week (YVRW), presented by Hummel Agency with Farmers Insurance, returns March 22-30 to highlight the Valley’s eateries and support the Urban Kitchen of Yakima Program (UKY). Yakima Restaurant Week is a week-long event where participating Valley eateries offer a special menu for $15, $25, or $35. Eateries can participate by donating $100 (normal fee is $125) to sponsor at-risk youth, ages 10-18, to learn culinary and business skills through the Urban Kitchen of Yakima Program. Go to YakimaRestaurantWeek.com to sign up, for participating restaurants and more information.
Social Media Workshop 03/28/19
Social media is no longer an optional marketing channel -- it's a necessary one. You'll either have a lot of success interacting with your customers or you'll see little results. It just depends on how much effort you put into creating quality content. To help you we are hosting a series of FREE workshops on the subject.
Thursday, March 28, 9-11am
Yakima Convention Center
Speakers: Josh Clarence, Priscilla Trevino and Megan Schrenk, The Field Group, will teach you how to increase your social media presence, boost your engagement, build meaningful relationships, plus more. Shannon Mahre, Mahre Media, will give you insider photo tips and techniques, ideas on what to look for in a photo and what makes a good image or bad image.
RSVP to Stephanie at 509-573-3382 or stephanie@visityakima.com.
