New Listings in the City of Chicago were down 4.6 percent for detached homes but were up 3.8 percent for attached properties. Listings Under Contract decreased 5.9 percent for detached homes and 7.4 percent for attached properties.

Everyone is looking for something!

What I have learned...

Failure is not a word that I like to start sentences off with. It happens, and it happens often in real estate. I know many people will tell you not to focus on failure, but I think that isn't realistic (at least for me). I tend to take that failure, and obsess on it until I can mold it into something that I can use. I won't stop until I can flip the failure into a training, or even better a business opportunity.

Don't get me wrong I hate failing at anything I put all my time and energy into. Why would I ever just let that failure go and move on - when I can turn it into something great? So for that reason I have learned to embrace the worst things that are thrown at me. This also helps me celebrate all the small victories along the way! Let me know if you have any stories of turning something negative into something amazing!
