A large group of us volunteered with HOPE worldwide Disaster Response to provide supplies for local tornado victims. Many disciples from the North River Church of Christ made the drive to join us. It was tremendously encouraging to work together in unity to serve our community.
Our members, Christina Valeary (left) and Shanitique Gaston (right), organized a Women's Month Luncheon for the female soldiers in their unit. The event, entitled, "She's . . . Clothed with Strength and Dignity," included lunch and inspirational speaking.
At various intervals, disciples from Talahassee, Georgia State and Georgia Tech visited the ATCC. They hung out with the campus group, played laser tag, shared their faith,had Bible talk, and much more. They were all at church on Sunday, which encouraged us greatly!
And finally, the single brothers outdid themselves putting on a special Sister's Encouragement Lunch. These bros clean up good!
