A GREAT START TO THE

We are all happy to say that the campaign has got off to a great start.  The fund now stands at over £6000 and we have added over £4000 in the last month.  So very many thanks for the generosity of our donors.

We have already made a start researching our history and have an archive collected from generous residents.  This can be referenced on the website at https://pyrfordforum.org/heritage-materials/ and if you have any favourite histories, past and present pictures, photographs and maps or any other interesting heritage related items please let us know at info@pyrfordforum.org.  We would love to know about it and extend our archive with further references, if at all possible . 

We would also love to hear from you if you can help us with survey and assessment activities – no specialist expertise is required other than a genuine interest in in our community.  

In all we need to raise about £13000 to complete the work so we are planning a programme of events open to the whole community and these will be advertised separately.   If you haven’t already done so, however, you can support us with a donation - any amount will be really appreciated.

The latest Pyrford Portrait is of Peter Hedges and is now available for viewing.  Peter has spent many years  in Pyrford, in fact more than he cares to remember! "Oh yes, there have been changes," he says,  "but I wouldn't swap it for anywhere else."
