CHRISTIAN WHITE

in conversation with

Elizabeth McCarthy

Christian White's The Nowhere Child has sold rights into 17 countries. The fastest-selling debut novel by an Australian author, it unravels the story of Kimberley, a Melbourne woman who discovers she may have been kidnapped as a child from a town in the US. As she searches for the truth, we find ourselves in a strange, compelling world of cults, secrets and conspiracies. Elizabeth McCarthy speaks with Christian about the psychological thriller he thought would never see the light of day.

Elizabeth McCarthy is a Melbourne-based radio producer, presenter and book reviewer on 3RRRFM. Elizabeth hosts monthly in-conversation events in Melbourne, and is the convenor of the 2019 Victorian Premier's Literary Award for Fiction, as well as having anchored Triple R’s books and writing show, Multi-Storied, from 2013–2017.
