 Countdown is On!

Melanoma March 2019 is this Sunday 31 March, 8am for 9am start.

The countdown is on - Melanoma March is only 6 sleeps away!

Thank you to all the teams & individuals who have registered so far. Others can still register online www.melanomamarch.org.au or on the day.

Join us and be inspired by Jay Allen, melanoma survivor of 11 years who will be walking the talk to begin his ‘Jay's Longest March’ commencing after our March. Walking from Adelaide to Sydney via Melbourne and Canberra, now that is 2,600,000 steps over approximately 50 days.  So let’s give Jay a big cheer as he makes his first steps.

With this year’s theme being ‘time won’t stand still for families affected by melanoma, neither will we’, our highly successful annual event, brings families (some who travel from interstate), friends and individuals together to remember those no longer with us, to provide support to those living with melanoma or to raise funds to support awareness and research.

Another bonus who will be in attendance is Prof Georgina Long leads an extensive clinical trials team and laboratory at MIA focusing on targeted therapies and immune-oncology in melanoma.  Plus, Prof Richard
Scolyer who is the world’s most highly cited melanoma pathologist with his leading work on the classification of skin cancers and staging has had an impact across the world.

So please come along, join the march to make a difference.  For more information for Jay’s Longest March go to:  https://tourdecure.com.au/events/jays-longest-melanoma-march-2019/
