Easter, Holy Week, as many refer to it. A weekend that we remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and His power to conquer death and sin and give us eternal life. 

But Jesus didn't die to "save our sins" - as my kids used to say, He died for something greater, He died to restore us. He died to restore what He originally created, people who are made in His image and who live in perfect communion with the Father. 

Easter is more than just remembering the price He paid, it remembering what He paid the price for. For us! Living for Him is the greatest way of giving recognition to who He is and the price He paid. Giving Him a son and daughter who live through the resurrection power is the greatest gift we can give Him. 

This Easter, may our lives be lives that reflect this reality, the reality of the conqueror Christ.
