Congratulations to Dr. Andrea Gruneir and team on her
CIHR Grant
In September 2018 we applied to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research's (CIHR) project grant competition. We are happy to announce that we have received funding for Dr. Gruneir's Trajectories grant (also known as Longitudinal Monitoring for Quality of Care at the End of Life in Nursing Homes). Building on previous end of life work, the goal of this grant is to develop a new set of quality measures that can be used by different groups (including residents and their families, nursing home administrators and staff, and decision makers) to understand the quality of care at the end of life provided in nursing homes and identify opportunities for improvement.
