Como Park Falcon Heights Living at Home Block Nurse Program
Leaf Rakers WANTED
Happy Spring--

Leaf Raking Season is almost upon us and we’d like to invite you to join the Block Nurse Program for a morning, afternoon or evening of fun.  If you’re an early riser and want to spend a few hours helping an elder with their annual yard clean up, we can make that happen.  Afternoons better?  We can make that happen too.  Evenings?  Well you know what we can do.

Something I’d love to try this year is working with teams.  Are you a part of a church group that would like to join together and rake for elders?  Are you a member of a family that likes to volunteer together? Are you a participant of a service group and you’d like to organize your colleagues for a day of community giving?  How about a book club?  Anyone know the Surly Folks?  Or, how about a local Jug Band?  Running group? The sky is the limit with what kind of team you might like to create for a fun volunteer opportunity.

Once the weather warms up, we will hit the streets. For now, please give us a call and let us know if you’re interested.  We’d love to hear from you early so we can plan accordingly.  Also, please know, if you like to work on your own and don’t want to be part of a team, that is also something we can fully support.  Or, if you’d like us to match you with another volunteer, that’s great too.  Our goal is to make it a fun and easy experience for all.

Thank you for everything.
