Spring Ahead With 990 Success
Take a glance outside and that sunshine doesn't lie... spring is officially here! This change of seasons reminds us that 2019 is moving quickly. The second quarter of the year is upon us and it's a good time to evaluate growth personally and professionally.
Allow me to suggest one “spring cleaning” project for nonprofit founders, employees, and board members: the Nonprofit Policy Special: 10 for 990. ("990" refers to IRS Form 990 that many nonprofits must file annually).
It's an important offer to consider and/or pass along to your colleagues, friends, and clients. Why? Tax-exempt organizations need to have specific guidelines in place to be compliant and meet the IRS’ expectations! Additionally, many donors use 990 information to inform their giving decisions.
Just like flowers need water to bloom, your nonprofit needs attention to detail in order to thrive. This is why it's always a good idea to invest in comprehensive internal and external policies and procedures to help your organization grow and achieve its mission.
The Nonprofit Policy Special: 10 for 990 includes a thorough consultation, tailored drafting of 10 important policies asked about on Form 990, and a full review round for $990. By request, 10 for 990 has been extended to run through April 15, so don't hesitate to get started by contacting me to claim the special rate!
