CARPOOL REMINDERS

Cars need to approach the school from the north on Hoyt AvenueDo not turn from 25th onto Hoyt; this is not a four-way stop. There is not a stop sign on Hoyt, therefore do not block the intersection- you can be ticketed by Everett Police Department for doing so.

All students need to be picked up and dropped off using the carpool lanes. Alternately, you may park in the neighborhood and walk to the school and retrieve your student(s). Please use crosswalks and obey the safety patrol directions.

To help eliminate afternoon congestion parents should not be in line, or enter the gate until 3:00 pm (2:50 for preschool/kindergarten ONLY). PLEASE drive slowly in the carpool lanes on school grounds, and when approaching the school.  Pull as far forward as you can, both in the morning and the afternoon, to allow other parents in to pick up their children. Do NOT get out of your car. Please refrain from cell phone use while driving on the parking lot! Thank you.

ICOLPH PRAYER LINE

Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love.

St. Thérèse of Lisieux

Please consider offering up these prayers daily. We invite all students and their families to send prayer requests to Elisa Whitehouse via email, whitehouse@ic-olph.org, or bring them to school and drop them off at the office.

During Lent, let us pray in quiet remembrance our need for redemption, and to our Lord ask for the humility to combat sin. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

We remember our loved ones who have died and keep the hope that they are enjoying eternal life with Jesus and the saints. We pray especially for Lucas Keator, Barbara and Joseph Greene, Kathleen Turcotte, Drew Lenz, Jake Amancio and all those on our parish prayer lines. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

For all our loved ones who are sick and suffering, may they find healing and relief in Jesus. We pray especially for Ellie Brodland’s grandson Avery, Michael, Elizabeth, Mike, Liam, Joan, Nuria Regan-Bone’s mother and all those on our parish prayer lines. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

We give thanks to God for all our wonderful school friends and our dedicated school staff. May we see His face in each of theirs every day. We pray to the Lord.  Lord, hear our prayer.

For all our students’ family members who serve in the military, that God keeps them safe and bound to Him despite any danger or hardships. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

Pope Francis’ March intention for the Recognition of the Right of Christian Communities: That Christian communities, especially those who are persecuted, feel that they are close to Christ and have their rights respected, we pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

For all grade school, high school and college students and athletes, that their academics stay strong and their bodies healthy as the school year progresses. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

Let us pray for all those who need prayers and have no one to pray for them. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

For all our friends and family who are struggling with sadness, anger and anxiety, and that we will reach out to be lights in the darkness for them. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

Let us thank God for all the new opportunities and second chances He gives us each day. May we gratefully accept them and use them! We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

We are so thankful for our families. May we show our gratitude for them regularly and be sure they know our love for them. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

May the call of vocations bring an increase in priests and religious. We pray and are grateful especially for our fellow parishioners Duane Schireman and Chris Shambro, who are in the Archdiocese Diaconate Program. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

For those who think their sins are unforgivable, may they turn to God with trust in His loving mercy. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

May God protect the people who dedicate their lives protecting the innocent. We pray especially for those in the armed forces, government leaders, pro-life volunteers, school staff, and all parents and guardians. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

For all those who are experiencing spiritual doubt and separation, that Jesus calls them back home to the Church where we await them with love. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

May God’s voice be heard and peace be felt throughout the world, bringing unity among all His people.  We pray to the Lord.  Lord, hear our prayer.

With confidence in our Heavenly Father, we pray that He will guide all those who are facing difficult decisions and are confused or afraid. May they see the benefit of placing their trust in Him as they journey through this life. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

For our religious leaders, may God’s blessing and strength be with them. We pray especially for Fr. Joseph, Fr. Francis, Deacon Kelly and all our generous visiting priests. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
