Erwin Key Club
Erwin Key Club helped  raise $5,302.19 to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the Pennies for Patients/Pasta for Pennies program.

Enka Key Club
Enka Key Club's  big project this semester is a school-wide shoe collection in cooperation with Soles for Souls.  The collection effort runs 4/1 through 4/12.  We'll collect shoes for them at our meetings on 4/2 and 4/9.  Please bring in any size new or gently used shoes the next 2 meetings .  You can watch a short video about the program here.  Let's help support the Enka Key Club!

Reynolds Key Club
The Reynold's Key Club had a soup dinner to raise money for Manna Food Bank. The event itself raised over $1,400. They anticipate a total donation of $5,500 to Manna in addition to the food that they collected.  The funds and food donations were raised through classroom competitions, a silent auction, and the soup dinner.
The STEM lab at Johnston has a few needs for upcoming projects that our club can help them with:
  • Empty Cardboard Tubes (Paper towel size is preferred.)
  • Shoe Boxes with Lids
  • Cylindrical-shaped containers (Pringle's cans, coffee containers, disinfectant wipes container, etc...)
Please bring these each Tuesday as you collect them and Elaine will take them to Johnston when she volunteers on Wednesdays.
The Johnston Garden club is gearing up!  They will meet on Friday afternoons (March thru June).   If you  would be willing to assist with the prep work to help get the garden cleaned up, or help them on Friday afternoons, or any day that works for you, please let Elaine know.
They could also use kid sized tools such as shovels, gloves, hoes and trowels as well as compost/organic fertilizer, lime, seeds and plant starts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Johnston is collecting box tops which earn money for their school!    Many products you buy have them.  Click here to see a list.  There will be a jar at the check in table.  Bring any box tops you've collected during the week, and Elaine will deliver them to Johnston when she goes to volunteer.  Johnston will be collecting these all year long, so let's all bring in those box tops to help them!
