We are thrilled to announce that chuthis. has been invited by Charlotte Ballet's Artistic Director, Hope Muir, to present work at the Center for Dance in Charlotte, NC. chuthis. will perform Smile Masking and paper cuts in an empty bag May 24th & 25th, 2019! In February, we launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for our 2019 season & our CTMI Scholarship Fund. Thank you to those who have already donated; we are so grateful for you support! We still have a long way to go to reach our ambitious goal of $85,000. We need all the help that we can get to reach this number.
All money raised will go either towards general company costs for our upcoming performance season OR towards a scholarship fund for our annual chuthis. Movement Intensive. chuthis. Moves | Vegas
August 6-8, 2019 - REGISTER NOW!
We are so excited for our first edition of chuthis. Moves | Vegas, happening this August! The workshop consists of three full days of classes for dancers ages 11 & up in a non-audition setting. Peter and chuthis. company members/educators will lead classes in Qi Gong, Ballet, Modern, Body Maintenance, chuthis. Ideas, & chuthis. Repertoire.
60 dancers with a minimum of 4-5 years of serious dance training will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for the workshop is open, and is filling up quickly! Register here.

APPLICATION DEADLINE APPROACHING!
The application deadline for CTMI 2019 is quickly approaching! Our annual movement intensive has been reimagined as a two-week program, focused on a creative process with Peter Chu, that will culminate in a performance for the Las Vegas community. There is a limited amount of places available: 25 dancers, ages 16 & up, will be selected by video audition only. The application deadline is April 1, 2019! HSPro Recap
This month, Peter was in Chicago creating on the dancers of HSPro, a professional training program under the direction of Alexandra Wells. In just under three weeks, they created a brand new work, entitled damaged system. The work premiered at an in-studio showing at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. On behalf of all of us at chuthis., we'd like to offer our congratulations to the dancers, and a huge thank you to Alexandra Wells for her continuous love, support, and her unmatched contributions to the dance world.
